People! Tuesdays will never be the same again.
I hopped on a train to London to visit The Gucci Cosmos Exhibition.
I have never seen so many bags.
The Gucci exhibition is about all of Gucci's most iconic pieces. it takes you out of reality and into the world of Gucci. There are lots of different rooms of different colours, blue, red, and white which really sucks you into the world of fashion.
In all honesty, before going to see Gucci's collections I thought they only focused on florals and I prefer the more minimalistic fashion trends, but it's so much more than that. When I saw their Spring/Summer 2024 collection, I DIED! It's the perfect mix between classy yet still modern and inventive and I've been waiting to visit this exhibition in London ever since.

What I loved most was seeing the iconic outfits of Harry Styles, with the blue dress he wore on the cover of Vogue in November of 2020 and his royal blue Gucci suit. In my opinion, my favourite part about fashion is the bags! For me, a bag can instantly and effortlessly elevate any outfit and the exhibition was not short of them. Something to mention is Gucci's florals, which I think we all associate the brand with. The history of the well-known floral print is quite unique. It was originally seen on their bags in 2005 but the pattern was created in 1966 by Vittorio Accornero, he made the design using 37 different colours which has become a pattern we can all associate with Gucci.
What I noticed immediately was that their products were, to say the least extravagant, you definitely won't get bored, you can't help but imagine pairing them with your wardrobe
I particularly loved the blue room, when I walked in I felt like Dorothy skipping down the yellow brick road, it was like a neverending wardrobe, I just wanted to take it all back with me.

The bags on the left have a theme of red, I particularly like the circular red bag, I noticed that Gucci are great at trying to elevate a simple red bag by having all different shapes of bags, there's a powerful feel to all their products in which you never see anything twice, everything you look at has a different vibe to it, I think after attending the exhibition it has made them one of my favourite fashion houses because they are constantly reinventing themselves to stay with the times but they also aren't copying other brands they very much stick to their roots and aren't desperate to keep in line with mainstream culture.
In this picture there are the classic florals of Gucci, I think the floral scarf is one of the most important, noticeable pieces from the exhibition, created in 1966, It is quite a timeless piece and an item that is one of Gucci's most famous and we still see the pattern on their dresses and bags.
